The Audion heat guns are used to shrink wrap parcels for further protection during transportation, as well as for general objects such as garden furniture and boats during the winter months, among other things.

This powerful shrink gun is well balanced and has an ergonomic grip which helps when using the tool over a long period of time. The temperature can be set in two different ranges: level 1 = 350 °C (300 L/min) and level 2 = 550 °C (500 L/min). It needs a short heat up time to reach its operating temperature. The heat gun is designed with a built-in stand so it can be positioned in an upright (vertical) position.

Standard 4 nozzles included; spot nozzle, wide jet nozzle, deflection nozzle and edge protection nozzle.

The Heat gun in action

The Audion heat gun can be used to shrink wrap shrinkable film around your product. The packages can be made with one of our Audion Shrink/L-sealers. The films that can be used are polyolefin or PVC shrink films.

Point the heat gun at the packed product at a distance of approximately 30 cm. Switch on the heat gun in mode 1 or 2, depending on how easy the film shrinks.

This is depending both on the shape of the product and the thickness and quality of the film. Try to equal the heating on all sides by rotating the packed product and /or moving the heat gun in order to get an equal shrink quality on all sides.

Use more distance, lower heat or thicker / stronger film when blurring holes in the film. Place the heat gun in an upright position on a stable safe surface after use; the heat gun has to cool down.
