VDT 6080

The VDT 6080 is the largest dip tank in the Audion range

The number 6080 is derived from the size of the dip tank. The width is 600 mm and the length is 800 mm in the dip tank bath. Ideal size to create high-quality contoured packing for larger-sized products.

Dip tanks or shrink tanks as they are sometimes called help to give a vacuum-packed product a more professional finish. The so-called second skin.

Most of the time the dip tank is used alongside a vacuum packer or vacuum power sealer. After your product has been packed it would be put into the dip tank. The excess plastic that is left after vacuum packing is then shrunk down using the heat of the water in the dip tank and creates a more satisfying finish to the product with no plastic flaps around the product.

Intelligent control unit

The Audionvac VDT 6080 is equipped with a digital control panel. This intelligent control panel is clearly laid out and easy use. It has a accurate temperature control, adjustable dipping cycle time and a water overflow control system. This incombination with the hydraulic drive makes operating it easy and safe.

For the perfect end result

After vacuum packaging, the product is placed into the dip tank, with hot water filled, for a few seconds. During this bath, the special vacuum shrink film will retract the plastic surplus film around the product. Resulting in a better looking packaging, as well as a reduced packaging volume.
